Hello all! Happy March. The weather may be constantly fluctuating, but one thing remains true: There’s just a few days until our SACRILEGE show on Thursday, March 23!
We hope you’ll join us at Dromedary Bar for an eventful night of comedy, drag, music, and of course, plenty of sinful, sumptuous sacrilege. The lineup is jam-packed with lovely performers, and we’ve conducted mini interviews with them all to give you a taste of their vibe before you see them take the stage. It’s sure to be the show you’ve been praying for.
Plus, if you confess a particularly audacious sin or show up to the show in your sinful best, you could win a prize. Everyone likes prizes!!!!!

Meet the Performers
Mini q+as with the artists gracing our stage on March 23.
How would you describe the work you make as a performer?
Otter Lee (he/they): As a comedian, I like to think of my style as darkly absurd but also extremely open and honest. I think a lot of people underestimate me because I'm cute and wear lots of pink or sparkly things, then I say go and confess to something super petty or intense. I don't like when people tell a whole story, deliver a punchline, then say it was all made up – that's a waste of time. I tell the truth and it's cray cray.
Junior Mintt (she/her): The work I make as a performer is actually a love letter to my ancestors and our Black, Queer and Trans community. Speaking from my perspective for people who live our perspective.
Octavia Leona Kohner (she/her): Octavia Leona Kohner refuses the normal constraints of an artist bio and encourages you all to k*ll your local p*g.
Excess Materials (he/they): A surrealist speculative fiction mix of heavens hells and worlds from many Portals.
What’s a tasty thing you’ve eaten lately?
Otter: Obsessed with the Bacon Egg and Cheese with Scallion Pancake Sandos from Win Son Bakery right now. I definitely have a soy allergy, but they're worth it.
Junior: I had shrimp and seafood pasta in Harlem. That slapped!
Octavia: I just had this lovely blueberry Pocky that tastes like chemicals on a stick. It’s really innovative how people can create flavors that gesture to reality but reject naturalism. It was like the Nicolas Cage of Pocky.
Excess Materials: Pumpkin Jamaican patty.
Do you know your sun, moon, and rising signs?
Otter: Leo sun. Aries rising. Libra moon. That's a lot of fire and a lot of dithering about silly things.
Junior: Aries sun, Taurus moon, Gemini rising
Octavia: Leo Sun, taking suggestions on the other signs but I feel like Pisces Moon suits me.
Excess Materials: Cancer, Leo, Aquarius (just finished my Saturn returns)
Are there any upcoming shows or projects you’d like to plug?
Otter: I have a tour of the United Kingdom coming up. About 20 shows, mostly in London. I'm excited to get darker and get my heart broken by some lads!
