Hello all! We hope your new year is going well so far. Either way, it’s going to get a lot more exciting this Thursday, January 26 when our New Year, New Hole show kicks off!
We hope you’ll join us at Dromedary Bar for an eventful night of comedy, clown, poetry, music, and of course, plenty of holy holey holes of all shapes and sizes. The lineup is jam-packed with lovely performers, and we’ve conducted mini interviews with them all to give you a taste of their vibe before you see them take the stage.
Sit back, relax, make some soup and salad if you so desire, and enjoy the (w)hole experience.

Meet the Performers
Mini q+as with the artists gracing our stage on January 26.
How would you describe the work you make as a performer?
Edson Montenegro (they/them): GaaaaaaAAaaAaaaAYYyyyY
Chicken Big (Tej, Ibhan, and Lars): Exclusively geared towards the nouveau riche.
Von (he/him): The adult emotions of someone who ate styrofoam as a child.
Super Duper (she/her): Well, I started as a performer in immersive theater, making direct, one-on-one experiences with audience members. There was so much room for connection, improvisation, and chance. So, now that I’ve recently started performing on stage, I would like to take those qualities with me. I want to make sure the audience is part of the experience, rather than just an observer.
What’s a tasty thing you’ve eaten lately?
Edson: really crunchy bread :)
Chicken Big: A bag of coins.
Von: vape juice straight from the bottle (also homemade mac and cheese).
Super Duper: I just got an air fryer so I’ve been making a lottttt of heavenly spiced sweet potato fries 😱
Do you know your sun, moon, and rising signs?
Edson: libra sun gemini moon pisces rising (alt: bottom sun top moon vers rising)
Chicken Big: No, but our ocean sign is the Dolphin King.

Super Duper: I know I’m a Gemini! But when people ask me about the others… I’ve had to pull out my Costar (multiple times) to check. I just hand over my chart and let them figure it out.
Are there any upcoming shows or projects you’d like to plug?
Edson: I host a monthly character show (Grand Character Hotel) with Sydney Duncan at Brooklyn Comedy Collective (BCC) AND i'll be in the world premiere of Silver Foxes, a new comedy by Stan Zimmerman & James Berg, in Dallas!

Super Duper: Yes! April 1st, April Fools Day, im throwing a big silly spectacular at Rubulad! There will be DJs, clowns, a variety show, immersive activities and weirdo experiences, surprises, mysteries, and tricks galore, plus pranks, of course pranks :)
